Have 32 gb available but app update on iPad says needs 143 mb to update

Thank you everyone for your time and efforts in replying to my post 💕. I finally have good news. After going round and round with my contacts with the developers as they kept just asking me to go to contact us page. I instead after 5 days replied directly and let them know I was not receiving troubleshooting help but instead links to start a new conversation which in turn keeps nothing going and gets no where. Finally they wrote back with instructions. First one was restart and try again which of course as I explained I had done many times. They said to delete the game and download again and no to worry I would not lose my progress. I had been concerned of that and so had not tried that. So I deleted the app. And yes deleted not just remove. I restarted, went to App Store to download… at first I was concerned bc it showed ‘☁️‘ cloud instead of get so was afraid I would get same … clicked on open and at first it gave me the same text box but this time it said it needed 456.77 additional assets! A lot more than before! I clicked ok and crossed my fingers 🫰🏻. It then began updating 1 of 75 updates but this time the game loaded and I got on! So thanks for your efforts, I felt you deserved to know the results, even though so long. I was just so afraid of deleting the app bc I don’t Facebook but instead I use Apple’s Game Center. But my progress is still

So problem Resolved !! Hopefully the next person this happens to is able to locate this post and save a lot of time and concern!

Here is the screenshot from Gardenscapes app when I try to open it, it tries to update then says this

also I did clear my cache, double clicked home button and swiped up to close anything that was open, restarted twice…. Still can not update bc need 143 mb and have 32.43 gb available!

Yes I have clicked ok and it starts loading updates beginning with 1 of 116. And then shows the same attention additional assets needed. I thought of trying to contact developers but being unable to load the game I left a review yesterday hoping the developers would respond. I checked and not there yet. So today I went to developers website and sent contact form with details and screenshots. To the person who said it is a known issue… did they ever get it resolved? Thank you everyone for replies. I will update when something happens!
