My new iPad has synced photos from my phone. I don’t particularly want all my

phone photos on my iPad. How do I get them off my iPad but not lose them to my

phone? Next, I have some photos in iCloud in on my computer and in files on my computer but not in iCloud that I want to put onto my iPad alone. Is that possible? Any other solutions?

iPad, iOS 9

If you sync with iCloud all photos will appear on all devices. You can turn off sync to not sync the photos through iCloud on any specific device. And, then you can sync those devices independently by connecting to your computer and selecting specific albums to sync.
