Suddenly while drawing, a part of the display becommes unresponsive to touch and apple pencil

My ipad pro suddenly has area i can't draw. I have been using my ipad pro for art, and now suddenly there is an area in the middle that i can't draw. As shown in the picture here. The keyboard still works in that area, but not apple pencil, finger painting still work, if i draw line horizontally i cant draw, but if vertically i can draw. What is the issue here and how to fix it?

iPad Pro Touch Screen and Apple Pencil unresponsive. Hello, Recently my iPad touchscreen suddenly stopped working. I can still use it with the keyboard and the touchpad on it but can't seem to use the touchscreen. I've tried restarting the iPad and updating it to the latest IOS. I've cleaned my screen using a micro cloth as well. On top of this, I can't write anything with my Apple Pencil (2nd Gen) on the iPad anymore. I've checked the Pencil's connection and made sure that it is connected multiple times. I have a screen protector on the iPad but I'm not sure if that's the problem as I've used this screen protector for a while and it responded without issue before to both my finger and the pencil. Uni is starting soon so anything that can fix this would be helpful.

You would be best advised to seek assistance directly from from Apple Support. You can contact the Support Team using the Get Support link at top-right of this page. Alternatively, you can initiate and manage your support cases using the excellent Apple Support App. If not already installed on your iPad, the App can be downloaded from the App Store:
