My control center will not appear when I swipe up. But it used to. I have the series 6. How do I get it back. I want to turn off theater mode

full screen display disappears for TV app and can't figure out how to get it back I open the TV app on my mac and watch a movie in full screen. If I open another app, the full screen disappears. I can see the TV app, I can hear the movie playing, but I can't see it and can't figure out how to get that screen back. The only thing I can do is to close the TV app, reopen it, and resume the movie. How do I find the hidden screen that is showing the movie and get it to display again?

Control Panel with new update I know to make the control panel appear with the newest update, you have to push the long button on the side. I hate that we lost the ability to swipe up and will never use the new content on the swipe up page. Is there a way to bring back the previous way to access the control panel??
