Remote Management - I get notifications after Logic Board replacement
First and foremost, Hi there, I have recently purchased a Macbook Pro from some guy on Offer up. Upon receiving the device, It looked normal. Everything worked just fine. I went ahead and formatted the laptop to ensure no spyware was installed, and to my surprise, It had a remote management setup. The guy deleted his account before I can reach him again, POS.
I took it to Apple hoping they can help, and they stated that it would require a Logic board change. Okay, they told me that I can get Apple care for $140 and not have to pay for the logic board change. Sweet, I buy the Apple care, give them the laptop, and receive in back in 5 days. On my referral, It stated that the logic board, Macbook Screen, and touch bar ID were replaced all for free. Really happy they did that.
Now to the **** question, After setting up the Macbook, I receive random notifications to allow remote management to the prior company. After clicking No, the notification keeps popping up every 15 minutes. Is there any way to make it permanently stop? I thought the Logic board replacement would remove any previous ownership.
