My AirPods Pro case sometimes just stops working even when charged.

my airpod pro case sometimes just stops working even when charged. both earbuds work but when i check the airpod case is just disconnected from the phone. then i hood the button and there’s no charge. i charge them but no night turns on and they are just not working. And the charger works because i’ve tried it on other things.
