Why does my remote keep losing connection and my phone says both my devices are offline??

My Apple TV remote keeps losing connection. I tried to be patient with it but it’s been going on for multiple weeks and even my app doesn’t recognize my Apple TV device.

I’m excited charged my remote and done everything I can think of. I want a replacement because this is ridiculous. Your software needs an upgrade
