Apple keyboard not recognized by new computer
Magic keyboard connected through bluetooth, but not recognized in preferences. I can use it but I cannot change type. Any suggestion?
Mac mini, macOS 12.4

Preferences - Keyboard - Change keyboard type - Setup assistant - Continue - Identifying your keyboard - Press the key... - I get the message that my keyboard cannot be identified. Actually, it is Apple Magic with Hebrew and ABC and I wanted to add Italian, which I did with the plus sign. So now the issue is no longer relevant to me, but still I wonder why it is not recognized.

If you do not have any problem matching what is printed on keys with the output on the screen, recognition is just irrelevant and not worth messing with.

Why do you need to do that? What keys are not working as they should?
