iPhone Photos -> lightning

Hi,

I have noticed that in some photos I’ve taken with my iPhone, the lightning looks different when comparing them in the photo app on my iPhone vs on google photos app on my iPhone.(of when uploading / downloading/ taking screenshot)

when I look at the photo in my iPhone camera app the lightning in some places is different and brighter vs the same photo in google photos app. (Upload setting in google photos is in original quality).

Eg: around the sun, a brighter blue sky, some part of a house that seems brighter , etc.

this is not an issue of google photos. Because when I take a screenshot of the photo in the camera app the brightened lightning is gone as well.

seems like something is done within the iPhone photos app.

does someone have an idea what that might be?

i can’t add an example since taking a screenshot or uploading a photo deletes this more brighter light.

I’m really curious why this is, and even if someone has a logical explanation for it :-).

thanks a lot for the help.
