Lights in the photos are distorted

Whenever I click any pic in the evening with some good lighting or even street lights…a strip of lights appear with the existing lights and sometimes even overlaps the face or body of the person clicked in the pic. I am using iPhone 14 and it’s been only a month.

What you're describing is lend flare. Lens flare occurs when a light source is significantly brighter than the rest of the ambient lightning and it hits the camera lens. It is a reflection of the light source getting the camera lens or sensor.
