Does anyone know if you can import DNG Raw photos from a DJI Mini3 Pro into Apple Photos?
Can I import DNG files into Photos without extra software?

DNG files are usually supported, but some cameras may be using a special format. The drones are not listed in Apple's list of supported RAW format: Digital camera RAW formats supported by iOS 15, iPadOS 15, and macOS Monterey - Apple Support
Try to download some samples images and see, if you can open them. Some samples are here:

I could import one of these pictures to Photos.
I’m not familiar with image capture. I just plug my SD card into the computer and the photos go directly into the Photos app when I am using my Canon camera.
I have not bought the drone yet, so I’m trying to find out if I will be able to download the raw files before I spend $1000.
You're clicking and dragging the image that shows on that web page. Click here to download the RAW file:
You should be able to, try running image capture directly.
I was able to download an image from the site, but instead of RAW, it was only a .jpg 1200x900 and just 222 KB.
That did it. Thanks! I got the Raw file into Apple Photos and was able to edit..
