What is the deal with the Apple TV app? Good picture quality, terrible streaming experience!!!

What you describe is unexpected and not typical. For most Mac users, the TV app is working fine.

For Mac troubleshooting,

• Try starting up in safe mode, to see if the behavior changes. This would tell you if other software is interfering.
• Try starting up in another user account, to see if the behavior changes. This would tell you if e.g. preferences files in the former user space got invalid information somehow.

If you still are within the first 90 days of your new Mac, then try the high service of Complimentary support - Apple Support.

My apple TV ap works well on my ipad, iphone, and Macbook. But NOT AT ALL ON MY ROKU TV!!! Every week when my show comes on I cant watch it on my TV! I bought the little homekit thingy so I could airplay but that doesn't work either!!!

Its frustrating because I pay for Apple One Family Plan!!!!

Yes Apple TV app on ROKU. HomeKit thingy is HomePod mini. I have it all set up with lights & plugs connected.

Yes my ROKU offers airplay built in and HomeKit if you have either Apple TV (NOT THE APP) OR THE HOMEPOD!!!

Are you using the Apple TV app on Roku? Not sure what the "little HomeKit thingy" is. Does your TV offer AirPlay built-in?

I REMEMBERED HOW TO FIX IT!!!! I HAVE TO RESET MY ROKU TV!!!! UGH
