Is is possible to switch custom workspaces with key commands?

I'm currently editing a project and find I'm fairly frequently switching between custom workspaces. Going through the menu is quite slow and, although the built-in workspaces have key shortcuts, I can't see how it is possible to assign keys to the custom ones. Anyone got any ideas, please? (All software current versions).

Yes, it is possible, and it is easy to do.

All you have to do is assign keyboard shortcuts to each Workspace.

Now, you can't do it in FCP, but you CAN do it in System Preferences->Keyboard->Shortcuts->App Shortcuts.

Even better in video, Ian 😁

I noted that the guy said we need the intermediate menus, as in Window->Workspaces->Name

That is usually not necessary - unless perhaps if the text on the menu is the same as something else (I imagine that "Custom" may appear elsewhere, and his example needs it to resolve the ambiguity).

Anyway, it is useful to learn that the -> notation also works. That is new to me.
