Does iCloud back up all of your emails incoming and sent automatically? I have 26,000!

Does iCloud Backup automatically backup all of your emails (incoming and sent)? I have 26,000! Just got a new 13 Pro and want to be sure. Thanks for your advice.

If you are using an iCloud email account, then yes. It keeps email not he servers, though not really a backup, as anything you delete from the device will be deleted from iCloud.


If using a 3rd party email account, like gmail, hotmail, or a corporate or school email, then no. Each provider would need to keep a backup of said emails on their server. iCloud is not involved there.
