I bought an iphone x of marketplace and it got delivered buyer never told me it was locked and I was surprised so i tried resetting it but it went to activation lock would apple support still help if I provide conversation proof and remove the activation lock

Nope. Return it and get your Money back. if you can’t do that, turn it over to the police. It’s probably stolen.
