HDMI-CEC Support for Apple TV

We are interested in controlling the AppleTV via HDMI-CEC. Is there a users guide/API or list of commands that AppleTV supports?

Nope, you cannot control the Apple TV with CEC commands, period. The only way you can control the Apple TV without a physical remote is with an iPhone or iPad using their included remote apps. The Apple TV can control other devices via CEC, like a TV or AVR, only in terms of turning them on/off, volume up/down, and some input selection. That’s it.

I’m not sure what your intended use is but the Apple TV does not have a firmware interface that can be accessed over a network for example. It’s a streaming box intended to be connect to a display.
