MacBook Air BigSur Asking for Password

Thing is asking for a password that I never setup. Tried to use the command r and that's got a lock that I never setup. So I cannot access the computer at all.

Your Mac requires you to create a password during the initial setup process. You can't use Mac without a password. You can find all the ways to reset your password here https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202860

What are you trying to do?

If you're not an admin user, you'll need to get the password from an admin user. Or maybe from the user whot did the setup for whatever it is you're trying to do.

That's all just a guess as you gave little information to actually work with.
