I know how to add a customer keyboard shortcut. The problem is, in the menu File > Insert from iPhone or iPad, both devices have the same command "Add Sketch". So, now when I use the customer keyboard shortcut, it defaults to iPhone. I want to add a sketch from iPad, using the customer shortcut. Any help much appreciated!
That won't work as Matthew's iPad (2) is a command itself.
You would need two separate items in the File menu to do what I suggested.
Since it combines them into one command with individual subcommands, there's no way to isolate one from the other.

The only thing that worked was to shut off the iPhone. I tried disabling handoff on the iPhone, shut off blue tooth, and shut off wifi.
I only have access to one device, so I'm not sure if this is possible.
If there is a Import from iPad and an Import from iPhone, you can add the parent item from the command in the custom keyboard shortcut,
Import from iPhone > Add Sketch
Thanks for the reply! So the menu is kind of weird (see attached) and I think this is the problem.
The customer keyboard shortcut doesn't know which device, iPad or iPhone, because the commands are exactly the same for each--"Add Sketch". It just defaults to the first one, the iPhone (and I want iPad).
To try to override it defaulting to iPhone, I added " Matthew's iPad (2) Add Sketch", but then neither one works.

Sorry, no. I only have my iPad in the menu. I don't know why my iPhone doesn't show up.
