my computer wont update
I have had my Mac book for about a year now and when i go and try to update it it keeps telling me I am not the owner so It wont let me update it and there is no way to fix it

If as suggested in previous posting - Purchased as Used, this is what the Seller should have done Before selling the computer to you.
What to do before you sell, give away, or trade in your Mac
If they have not done the above, it falls to you ( the newer Owner ) to perform these actions to have Full Control over this computer
