im restoring my phone to the factory settings and it been over and hour. it says my mac is downloading all the software onto my laptop from my phone and its taking a long time, wondering how long its going to take

It could take several hours depending on how much you are restoring. If you had a lot stored on your device it could take longer.

Check Force Quit:
See if applications are open, yet are not responding, other than why you are using for this . If that is the case, save what need be (if possible), and then Force Quit each app.
i had 55.17 GB lol.. do u think this will take about a day ?
