Screen fault on Macbook Air with M1 chip

I have an 18 month old Macbook air with the M1 chip. It now has a large grey stripe down the left hand side of the screen and occasionally flashing purple stripes across the rest of the screen. Is this a software or hardware issue ? I can post photos if needed.

Hi,

I suppose your MacBook Air has LCD or video related hardware issue.

You should take your MacBook Air to your local retail AppleStore, Genius Bar or Apple Authorized Service Provider to be examined your MacBook Air there.
