OS high sierra upgrade to monterey - is it possible on a mac book pro 2016?

while it is technically possible, some people have had issues trying to upgrade to Monterey from any macOS prior to Big Sur. if it was me, I would take a more conservative approach. i would try upgrading from High Sierra to Mojave, then Catalina, and then Big Sur, and then on to Monterey.

Thanks but I doubt I could cope with stress of it all. Looked at renewing but they won’t give a trade in discount. Time to switch back to Windows for me now.
