iCloud password issue on my iMac

I changed my iCloud email address on my iPhone. On my iMac, my login details use my old iCloud email address and I cannot seem to be able to update the email address and new password. How can I do this without logging out and logging back in?

Signing out would result in some documents being deleted from my mac.

iMac (24-inch, M1, 2021, 2 ports)

Icloud Yesterday I changed my email address on Icloud and Apple. It works but a problem appeared. A request appears on the screen asking me to change my password to continue using iCloud. How can I access my old email on iCloud.com? I’m trying to access my old email which is p*******@icloud.com. i can’t find anything about icloud.net but i had used it to sign in to a tiktok account that i am trying to access again. i try to use icloud.com but it wont work i dont really understand but is there anyway to access it still?
