MacBook M1 Pro model A2485

Anyone with this model A2485 MacBook I bought new about 8 months ago completely locks up on numerous occasions? No cursor, mouse, or keyboard key except shutdown key produces any action. Has been used very little, mostly for email and browsing. Apple logo won’t even appear to shut the computer down. Had to use shutdown key in upper right to shut down then proceeds to lock up again. Called Apple Support with limited support other than reinstall Current Mac OS. Very disappointing performance from an almost $3000 laptop from a large volume Authorized Apple distributor.
