Access to emails between MacBook and iPad

i have a macbook and an ipad pro 15 - my issue is i have saved travel emails in a folder on my mac book but i can’t seem to access them on my ipad. Is it possible to copy the folder to my iPad but I’m now sure that is the correct thing to do.

Assuming you use IMAP (most accounts do, these days), then mail is stored on the email server. But, you can also store emails locally (On My Mac). Look at the sidebar in Mail where the email you want are, if it's under On My Mac then they are local. Scroll the sidebar until you see your email account, and move them (or the whole folder) to that account (can just drag and drop), and that will copy those emails to your email server – once done, they'll show up on your iPad.
