Iphone 12 Pro Max Camera Zoom Issue

My Iphone camera zoom is not working properly. When i open camera it is set at 2x automatically and i cannot zoom out to 0.5 . And also i cannot zoom it greater than 5x . this all started after ios 15. What could be the possible solution ?
