transferring number

so i ordered new iphone 13, i transferred my number from straight talk to cricket just around 4pm today. i can only use the number on my old phone though, i can only send not receive messages on my new phone.. i called straight talk and they said they released my number. but i am only getting text messages on my old phone not my new phone. is it still transferring or what. help
