If you have just installed the recent update from Apple for your iPhone, then you probably want to check to see if there are any updates available for WhatsApp and other apps you use.


How to manually update apps on your Apple device - Apple Support


Making sure all your apps are updated should help. If you still can't use WhatsApp, you will want to reach out to their developer. See How to contact an app developer for details.
