Could we please have choice of dominant device?

Dear Apple, I can rarely hear properly on my iwatch. When it rings I need to find my phone which used to ring, but doesn’t now that I have the watch. I can’t answer on the watch unless I have ear buds in which isn’t safe in my work environment. Please can you help? I love getting and sending texts on my watch, but calls are really frustrating!
