Multiple keys getting pressed when a single key is pressed

Hello,

I've been facing issues with my Mac M1 for the last 5 days. It started with the x & c keys. When I press c it types cm, x types x§. Similarly when I press the left arrow key, the volume gets reduced along with it.

The issue occurs periodically and gets fixed automatically for a while.

I haven't spilled water or any liquid on the device.

I have also tried all the troubleshooting options- NVRAM clear, safemode etc.

Please suggest what can be done to fix this issue.
