Delay in updating steps count in health. Noticed many have the same issue but no root cause fix mentioned. Is there a fix?

It looks like the step count listed in the iPhone Health app is lower than you expect it to be. If you're using a third party app or smartwatch/activity tracker, it is possible there may be a delay in this count updating into the Health app. We would suggest reaching out to the developer or manufacturer to see how often their specific hardware and software update to your iPhone: How to contact an app developer - Apple Support
If you're using an Apple Watch, or just the native iPhone Health app and step count functions, we would encourage you to reach out to Apple Support directly.
