Verification failed on Amazon fire tv cube

Is anyone else having issues with accessing the Apple TV app on their Amazon fire tv cube? I have followed all recommendations via internet search and still no luck. I contacted amazon and they said to contact apple.

Amazon Fire Cube Apple TV “Verification Failed” Apparently, I’m one of many here that’s having this exact issue. So, I’m having an issue with the Apple TV app on my Amazon Fire Cube 1st Gen. I’m attempting to login to my existing Apple account, but I keep getting “Verification Error”. Underneath this error code is the text, “There were errors signing you in. Wait a moment, then try again.” I’ve tried checking the date and time of the device, which is set correctly. I’ve done a factory reset on my Fire Cube device, and I’ve even reinstalled the Apple TV app. My Fire Cube firmware is up to date for the model. Nothing has worked. The thing is, the app works perfectly on my other two Gen 1 Fire Cubes, and works perfectly with my Gen 2 Fire Cube. Also, the app isn’t showing a typical Apple TV login screen. Usually, on my other Gen 1 and Gen 2 Fire Cubes, there’s the option of a QR Code at the Apple TV login screen that you can scan. This is not the case, as there is only a manual login option for me with no QR to scan. I contacted Amazon, and their team told me it was a problem with the Apple TV app, and for me to contact Apple about the issue. The “solutions” offered on the other posts about this same issue don’t seem to resolve it for any of us. I’m hoping that someone has a working solution for this soon.

Verification failed I can't sign into my Apple Plus app on my TV (which I've used problem-free for years) I am asked to sign in, but immediately getting an error message that says Verification Failed...try again in a moment. I've been retrying this for a couple days. Same thing. What I've tried so far: checked TV network, time and date. All normal. reset app data from the TV settings. from my phone and iPad, appletv works fine, but I signed out from my phone settings and created a new Apple ID password (not happy about that...) on TV in the apple plus app, I've gone to "reset app settings" ive called my service provider, xfinity, they couldn't help. i have unplugged everything and replugged in.
