I started having problems getting my gmail to sync on my iOS email app on my phone and iPad a few weeks ago. So I added the gmail app and that worked for a few days but now it will only connect while on wifi. Cellular data is enabled for both email apps. I can access gmail through safari however so it seems to be a problem with the apps.
