Unable to make purchase on Education Store

I cancelled two orders of the macbook pro 16 inch, since I couldn't decide between the 16 or 14 inch macbook pro. I decided on the 14 inch, tried to place an order and I am now met with this message, "your order cannot be processed. you have exceeded the product quantity limit for an item in your bag. as a result, we are unable to process your order." I tried contacting apple customer service to no avail. I don't understand how I have "exceeded the product quantity limit" when I cancelled both orders.

Did you cancel the order and try to place a new one within 24 hours? It may need that much time to reset.

In this Community Forum we are volunteers and Apple customers, like you. You'll need to reach out to Apple again if the issue doesn't automatically resolve itself.

Call and speak to an Apple Sales Advisor at 1-800-MY-APPLE so they can help you over the phone.

edit to add: Also, @BobTheFisherman has sound advice.
