Unpaired, But Still Showing In Apple ID List Of Devices 🙃

Hi there,

I have an old Apple Watch Series 2 that I'm intending to sell. I've successfully unpaired it from my iPhone, so when I go into the Watch app on my iPhone and tap on the My Watch screen, it isn't listed. 👍

When I go into the Find My app on my Mac, the watch isn't listed under Devices. 👍

And when I log into iCloud.com in Safari on my Mac, and go to the Find iPhone page, the watch isn't listed under All Devices. 👍

However... if I go into the Settings app on my iPhone, and go to the Apple ID screen, the watch is still listed in my list of devices. ‼️ And if tap on "Remove from account" I get a message warning me that "Once you have removed this Apple Watch, it can no longer be used to approve new devices, or use iCloud or other Apple services, until you sign in again."

So, what am I supposed to do, if I want to sell this watch and give it to a new owner?

Thanks for your help. 😊

Remove it via settings, click okay on the message warning once you have removed, this is about your Apple ID someone else can set it up again with their Apple ID
