Photos widget broken after iOS 15.6 update

As you guys may know there was a new title update made available for iOS 15 two days ago (iOS 15.6) and, as someone who likes to have his devices fully updated, I've decided to go for it.

The update downloaded fine and installed fine and the device was eventually ready to use once again.

Problem is that my photo's widget kind of became broken after the update and it became greyed out. When I opened it it all felt really weird and noticed that I had two featured photos in the "for you" section and one of them was just blank. I went to my photos themselves and there was no such thing as a blank photo. I then made the mistake to remove my visible fotos from the "for you" screen and that only made it worse. I'm now stuck with a blank screen with no photos whatsoever that is acting like there are photos there and with a greyed out widget.

Not only that but if I press certain areas of the "For you" screen, the app will simply exit without further notice.

Of anyone can help me I'll be very much appreciated.
