I hate this panic message because it can happen when you are speaking with your client, writing email etc.
Hardware test was passed - no issue!

AVG was reported as running in the EtreCheck report you posted. Plus I missed it the first time, but you are also running Intego software which is also being identified as anti-virus software. Anti-virus apps are the most likely to interfere with the normal operation of macOS, plus you should never have two anti-virus apps installed at the same time as they will interfere with one another to cause even more problems. Besides, no anti-virus software is needed on a Mac.
After that, then the software mentioned by @Grant is most likely to possibly cause a problem or possibly even the VPN software since the VPN software has a system extension. However, there if these apps are not causing the problem, then you most likely have a hardware issue with the laptop (bad Logic Board) that will need to be repaired.
The best way to distinguish between a hardware & software issue is by performing a clean install of macOS by booting into Internet Recovery Mode (Command + Option + R) and erasing the whole physical SSD as GUID partition and APFS (top option), then selecting the "Reinstall macOS" option. Test the laptop with the clean install before installing any third party apps and before migrating/restoring from a backup. If the issue does not happen with a clean install, but only after installing third party apps and/or restoring/migrating from a backup, then most likely you have an issue with third party software.
A better option for the clean install would be to "Restore" the firmware on the laptop which will reset the T2 security chip as well as pushing a clean OS onto the SSD, but this option requires access to another Mac running macOS 10.15+:

FYI, the only useful diagnostic is one which reports an issue. A passing diagnostic does not mean the hardware is good, only that the tests could not detect a problem at this time. Some hardware issues will not show up in the diagnostics.
This is the best advise we can give you to resolve the problem. If you still have problems after uninstalling these apps, or after a clean install or "Restore" of the firmware, then you will need to have Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider examine the laptop.

You are running AVG anti-virus software. This could very well be your problem. Uninstall AVG by following the developer's instructions. Anti-virus apps, cleaning apps, and third party security software are not needed on a Mac and usually causes more problems than they solve plus they impact system performance. macOS already provides great built-in security so as long as you follow safe computing habits your computer should be fine. Here is a great article written by a well respected forum contributor with some great tips:

As I mentioned:
hardware test PASSED
Restoring MacOS - DONE
My SSD was checked with Apple Restoring tool - Passed all logical partitions
BUT, when my Mac is rebooted I can work till I will close my laptop... Then, when I'm opening it and entering password after 5-10 mins it will make noise with FANS for a sec and shutdown! And it's not better I'm using it after the lid opening or it will just in standby- it will shutdown... till the next reboot and closing the lid.
Any idea?
I'm NOT running it for more than 2 years! Any results for searching AVG is zero, it was deleted by AVG uninstall + searching + app uninstaller. Don't think that 2 years it was OK but last 2 weeks it started to be a problem.
Any suggestions, pleeease 🙏
Thanks,
you described my way)
I have reinstalled the OS after deleting the data (erased ssd) and now - all good 🤞
regarding the antivirus - are you recommending to do not use it at all? Intego is quite good and cybersecurity is a must, but after a clean setup I’m confused regarding the AV, my thoughts was also like “no more AV”
and… how it can be that AVG is still here (on my past state of macOS, not now) because I deleted it and then I used search for any files of AVG - there was nothing. How EtreCheck found it?

These types of apps always interfere with the normal operation of an OS since that is their purpose. Even on a Windows system I will no longer utilize third party software like this for the same reasons since even Windows has improved their security and provides their own anti-virus implementation which is actually good enough. macOS has great built-in security as long as users also do their part in practicing safe computing habits such as those in the article @Grant linked.

Those files are associated with the system area so I don't believe a standard search will find them. EtreCheck is looking specifically at the system area since those items are what will typically cause severe issues since they are working at a much lower level than the average standard apps.
