my imovie is not syncing with my music

I have a new computer and trying to make a movie on imovie and my music library does not show. I have added Itunes to my new computer and it still doesn't show.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 10.14

Are you clicking on the Audio tab at the top left of an open project screen? The iTunes sidebar item will not be available except when there is an open project.
