okay so i have 2 phones, an iphone 6s and an iphone 7and they both share the same apple id and photos and messages and what not, the iphone 6s is on bootloop and the only way to get it back to normal is to reboot it but i dont want to lose any of my data like photos or contacts and messages, if i put the 6s SIM card in the iphone 7 then reboot the 6s is there any way i can put transfer the photos and messages from the iphone 7 back onto my iphone 6s after losing everything? please let me know soon, this is very stressful and this is the 3rd time ive had to reboot

SIM cards don't hold any data about the device, such as your Messages or Photos. As such, moving it won't do anything for your data.


First, try force restarting the boot looping iPhone. For the iPhone 6S, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time. When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons.
