My phone won't ring in calls when I'm in the Fitness app walking. It rings ok when I'm not using the application. What is wrong?

Yes, that's what i said "won't ring" obviously for notification, Mr. Obvious. So, how do I get the ring notification while in the fitness app? Please don't continue too just be difficult if you feel that you haven't an answer.
