I have the Show Subject Field for my text messages turned off. I’ve had it turned off for quite some time. This week it started to show the subject when I receive text messages. And its still turned off in my settings. How can I fix this?
I noticed the change after I synced my new Apple watch to my phone.

Please let us know if you’re seeing that Subject field when composing a message, receiving a message or both.
If you’re not seeing it when composing a message, that is what would be controlled in Settings > Messages > ‘Show Subject Field’.
If you’re seeing it when you compose a message, let’s have you go to Settings > Messages and enable it, restart your device, then toggle it off again and test.
