A - " One Drive " , if this is the Microsoft One Drive belongs to Microsoft.
A - This is not an Apple Product
A - In-order for this Software to exist on an Apple Computer, would require a purposeful action on the part of the User to download and install this Third Party Software
A - Suggestion checking wth the Developer of this software( Microsoft ) for the Removal Instructions.
A - Aside, the Current version of Monterey is now 12.5 as of July 20, 2022

Then quit It first. Use Activity Monitor to do this. It's in your Applications/Utilites folder.
I’ve done all that and I would think APPLE would not allow programs In the App Store that come with new computers that slip language in an app that comes with Microsoft 365 that allows Microsoft one drive to automatically become your default browser by a certain date which is exactly what happened. Why didn’t apple the gate keeper for approving or allowing apps and compatible programs get away with such a feature being installed or sold on the App Store.
The Apple Store is a Business like any other Business.
There are strict rules of Apple that Developer must Adhere to in-order for Their Applications to be allowed to appear on the Apple Store.
The Developers pays Apple a Percentage of each Sale .
Apple does not Force anyone to Purchase any Applications appearing on the Apple Apps Store
That Responsibility is left to the End User ( you and me ) to perform our due diligence and research Before clicking the Purchase icon
As for Compatibility of software - if one spends a little more time explore a specific Application before purchase - you may see like in below image
Beyond that - honest, what does the use expect Apple to be more Forwards about things

That didn't happen. How could One Drive, an equivalent to iCloud, become your default browser? It's not a browser...
How do I remove this one drive program? It keeps denying my ability to put it in the trash where it belongs stating it’s open and cannot be deleted?
