Predictive text suddenly stopped working

Earlier this week the predictive text on my iPhone XS suddenly stopped working. I have checked my settings multiple times and it has been on the entire time. Even turned it off for a couple of second to then turn it back on again, but it doesn't seem to help. How can I fix this?

iPhone XS, iOS 15

Thanks for the reply, but as stated on my original message Predictive has been on the entire time. It shows suggested words before I start typing, but once I type 1 single letter suddenly all the suggestions are gone. This wasn't the case before and started happening this week.

reset/ or a Force Restart,

Force restart iPhone - Apple Support

restore from backup, restore as new device.

Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support

I will add—

Update your iDevice  - The current stable release of iOS including bug fixes, is iOS 15.6

Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
