Please describe "not working". Can't be entered? Says its incorrect? Locked out because of too many wrong attempts?


Are you maybe confusing your local Mac password with your Apple internet password? The local ID and PW allows access to your Mac; the Apple ID and PW allows access to all of Apple's internet goodies. They are not interchangeable.
