Whatsapp chat related issue

I cannot select my whasapp chat messages on my iphone 12 pro

Whatsapp Problem my iphone is running on ios 16.6 . While using the whatsapp when i open chats then click on + button then the things showing like android. And when i checking the same thing in other iphone then its showing like step by step .
