MacBook Air won't Sync with iCloud Photos or Airdrop

Hi, my mac doesn't sync with iCloud Photos or my iPhone 12 Airdrop

It all seems to be working fine otherwise.

Phone-Mac-iCloud all syncing fine otherwise. Phone and mac recognise each other over Bluetooth for Airdrop but it doesn't work

I've done all the usual trouble shooting...what gives?

If those steps don't help, let us know more:

Do you use a VPN or security software with your Mac as those can block connections?
When checking the status of your photos library (steps found in the guide above), what does it show?
