START UP ERROR

Hello I performed disk erase for resale and now at startup screen shows flashing file folder with question mark.

iMac 27″, macOS 12.4

The flashing question mark indicates your computer cannot find the startup volume. Please follow the instructions in Flashing question mark appears when you start your Mac. There is a very good chance your internal HD has failed so your computer may need repair or replacement. If the computer is older than a 2017, I'd suggest looking into replacing it.
