Mac Studio (M1 Max) External display support refresh rate

The Mac studio states in specs that it supports 4k/6k external displays at up to 60hz. I have two lg 5k monitors connected to it and two gigabyte m28u monitors (total 4). The 5k's support 60hz and the m28u up to 144hz.

Is there a way to get the 144hz refresh rate on the m28u? I ask this because when I use the m28u with my macbook air m1 or macbook pro m1, I do get a 144hz refresh rate - the cursor on the screen is very smooth and it's easy to tell the difference. However, on the Mac Studio all of my screens run at 60hz despite Display settings showing the 5k monitors at 60hz and the m28u monitors at 144hz. Even if i only plug in 1 m28u monitor, I can tell the screen is not running at 144hz even though it states so in settings.

Hello marek197,

That's a fantastic question! Per the Mac Studio technical specifications, external displays of resolution of 5k-6k at 60Hz is supported. This information can also be found in the article linked below.
