Does two email addresses equals two Apple accounts?

Apparently I have used both my work email and personal email to sign into Apple. Does this mean I have 2 separate Apple Accounts? If so, it is my understanding I cannot merge them. Is that correct? I have no purchases, other than my monthly iCloud payment and a login for Apple TV. Mainly, I want my photos all protected under one iCloud account. Any suggestions?

If you created 2 Apple IDs, one with each email account, then they yes, you possibly have 2 Apple IDs. But you need to have created an Apple ID which each email to have 2 different ones. It does not happens automatically.

Yes. Apple IDs cannot be merged.

Choose which account you want to have everything under and use that one only. If your photos are on the other account, then you will have to manually download them and move them onto the account you want them on.

You can verify what you have on each account by logging into https://appleid.apple.com with each through a web browser. You can then download anything you want for each.

If you want to then discontinue one of them, you can requests Apple delete it entirely or merely deactivate it. See here: link-> How to delete your Apple ID account - Apple Support
