When the focus is enabled in i.e. personal the time is greyed out, becoming unreadable.
Attached Picture is from the active screen.
Anyone knows a workaround (by not disabling focus) ?
IMO 'Focus status' should not be displayed by the 'menubar Time' (making it unreadable).
Yes I know if you disable focus you can read the time but there's a reason to focus.

System Preferences > Dock & Menu Bar > Focus. Enable "Show in Menu Bar"

Yes I've read it in some other posts (Menu bar is faded on Big Sur - Apple Community), dated back to early 2021 Big Sur.
Actually, if you disable "Do Not Disturb" from the Control Center it does. If you use the "moon" icon, it doesn't.
FWIW, the dimming is a feature to let you know "Do Not Disturb" is set. If you don't want it to dim, change the setting as I described.

You're welcome. You can actually set it to "When Active" or "Always".
:grin: well it does not hide completely while inactive ... lol takes 15 seconds

Okay, it didn't used to lol now it does, just takes awhile. :)
FWIW, I have no idea why it takes so much longer to disappear using the Focus icon than from the Control Center. 😎
